TEKNIK POSITIONING PADA BLUETOOTH

Abstract


Paper ini mengemukakan beberapa teknik positioning untuk wilayah tertutup atau indoor menggunakan teknologi bluetooth, berdasarkan pada beberapa penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya. Positioning objek dikategorikan menjadi dua yaitu outdoor dan indoor. GPS adalah teknik positioning objek yang bekerja baik di lingkungan terbuka dan buruk ketika digunakan di dalam lingkungan tertutup. Terdapat beberapa teknologi yang bisa menggantikan GPS ketika digunakan di dalam lingkungan tertutup, seperti WLAN, bluetooth, IrDa dan RFID. Teknik atau metode yang digunakan dalam positioning bluetooth hampir sama dengan positioning menggunakan WLAN. Beberapa parameter yang bisa diketahui atau yang dapat diukur dari bluetooth diantaranya kuat daya sinyal yang dipancarkan (Tx power) dan RSSI. Parameter RSSI dipilih sebagai acuan untuk mencari jarak atau distance. Berdasar hasil dari beberapa penelitian, metode fingerprinting dan k-NN menunjukkan akurasi yang terbaik diantara teknik yang lain yaitu hingga 1,5 meter.
