SURVEI INTERAKSI VIRTUAL REALITY PADA PIRANTI MOBILE

Abstract


Selama ini Virtual Reality (VR) lebih banyak digunakan pada kalangan terbatas karena memerlukan perangkat khusus. Pada sisi lain perkembangan piranti mobile— yang dimiliki kebanyakan orang saat ini—telah mampu mendukung VR yang terutama dari performa prosesor dan pengolah grafis. Di samping itu adanya tambahan sensor seperti accelerometer, GPS dan gyroscope pada piranti mobile memungkinkan adanya interaksi baru dalam lingkungan VR. Tulisan ini menyajikan perkembangan interaksi VR pada piranti mobile yang secara umum terbagi ke dalam tiga skenario, yaitu: (1) interaksi pengguna dengan VR pada piranti mobile, (2) interaksi pengguna dengan VR pada piranti mobile dengan piranti lain di mana piranti mobile digunakan sebagai piranti input saja, dan (3) interaksi pengguna dengan VR pada piranti mobile dengan pengguna lain melalui komunikasi data.
