STUDY PENERAPAN ERP PADA UMKM DI INDONESIA
Abstract
ERP disebutkan sebagai salah satu solusi untuk menghadapi banyak perubahan seperti Persaingan global, pertumbuhan ekonomi, perubahan konsumen yang cepat. UMKM sebagai salah satu pendorong ekonomi negara berkembang saat ini sudah seharusnya mulai mempertimbangkan penggunaan ERP untuk meningkatkan daya saing. Namun tentunya UMKM memiliki keterbatasan dan karakter yang berbeda dengan perusahaan besar, terutama pada keahlian teknis yang dimiliki serta keuangan. Karena keterbatasan tersebut, UMKM harus lebih hati-hati dalam pemilihan solusi ERP. Pada makalah ini, disajikan beberapa aspek yang perlu diperhatikan oleh UMKM sebelum memutuskan menggunakan ERP, yaitu pemilihan vendor, proses bisnis internal UMKM, dan pengetahuan manajemen atas mengenai ERP. Aspek tersebut didapatkan dari pelajaran implementasi ERP di UMKM negara berkembang lain. Tidak hanya itu, penelitian ini juga menunjukkan perlunya peranan pemerintah terkait adopsi ERP pada UMKM.
