MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF PENGENALAN GAMELAN JAWA “E-GAMEL” MENGGUNAKAN TEKNOLOGI AUGMENTED REALITY

The influence of technology and information is growing very fast and rapidly in people's lives today, particularly in the world of education.  These developments can be utilized to help the learning process, especially in children.        

Interactive multimedia can be used as one of the media to help it.  The media are able to attract the interest of children toward things that are valued less interested as the art of  regional  namely  Javanese gamelan. Using the technology of augmented reality that describe objects virtual worlds projected towards the real world is able to create new things that may attract children to learn them.

Interactive multimedia introduction of Javanese gamelan "e-Gamel" using the technology of augmented reality is learning media to introduction of Javanese gamelan instruments are presented in the form of 3D, so that it can be viewed from different angles. With the application of this learning process, the expected development of technology can be utilized to the maximum for children in the world of education so that children can easily understand and learn all that is taught.
