VIRTUALISASI MEDIS: ANALISIS KECENDERUNGAN MASYARAKAT MENCARI INFORMASI KESEHATAN DI INTERNET
Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis faktor- faktor yang mendorong atau menghambat masyarakat untuk mencari informasi kesehatan di Internet dengan menggunakan variabel-variabel dari Technology Acceptance Model dan Process Virtualization Theory. Partial Least Square (PLS) digunakan untuk mengevaluasi korelasi antar variabel dari kesembilan konstruk yang diteliti (n=166). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel persepsi kemanfaatan internet dan kebutuhan sensoris manusia berdampak positif terhadap minat menggunakan internet sebagai media pencarian informasi kesehatan sedangkan variabel persepsi kemudahan, kebutuhan berelasi, kebutuhan sinkronisasi, kebutuhan identifikasi & kontrol, serta kemampuan representasi dan jangkauan teknologi informasi tidak terbukti berpengaruh signifikan.
