Efesiensi Penerapan Sistem Pendukung Pada Lahan Parkir Dengan Memanfaatkan RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Pada Kartu Tanda Mahasiswa

Abstract

Student density and facilities of public transport modes with a small quantity to reach the location of AMIKOM Yogyakarta University caused the majority of students to choose to bring their own transportation modes, which caused many modes of transportation into the campus area, campus licensing systems still using manual systems, where students are required to show their vehicle registration to the parking staff as licensing out of vehicles in the campus area, the weakness that occurs in this system is that students are allowed to use a driver's license (SIM) or identity card (KTP), so when the vehicle owner applies for a license, the officer parking cannot ensure the authenticity of the vehicle owner because the data shown is SIM but the data written is data on KTM. This can be a gap for irresponsible individuals to get permission to get out of the vehicle without suspicion of the parking security officer of AMIKOM Yogyakarta University. Then the solution was given in the form of a parking support system for the AMIKOM Yogyakarta University campus by utilizing RFID on Student Identity Cards that can help the licensing process and security exit or the entry of vehicles for AMIKOM Yogyakarta University students.
