Manajemen User Dan Pengelolaan Bandwidth Pada Jaringan Hotspot Menggunakan Router Mikrotik

Abstract

In a network technology, a device that can manage between existing internet networks is needed. The device is called a router. The router that will be used on the hotspot network in Kos Putra Pak Sigit runs with the Mikrotik operating system which is intended to manage bandwidth and users and configure existing hotspots according to the internet needs of each user hotspot user. Mikrotik configuration in this study uses WinBox.By managing bandwidth and users using the mikrotik router.Then the internet connection more stable because the available bandwidth has been shared with each user according to the bandwidth requirements that required by each user of the hotspot user. This makes it easy for administrators to monitor internet access by each user.Becausebandwidth management has been carried out with the Simple Queue method combined with PCQ.
