PERANCANGAN APLIKASI INFORMASI PROPERTI DI YOGYAKARTA MENGGUNAKAN FASILITAS GLOBAL POSITIONING SISTEM (GPS) BERBASIS ANDROID

Now, Development in informatics technologyy also give effect on Developing in Mobile Technology. There are many mobile device in people society like handphone / smartphone, tabletphone, notebook, and many more, are also some popular device in people society. One of application on mobile device is associate with Global Positioning System (GPS) technology which is an technology to mapping surface in the earth and connect with satelite signals.

Global Positioning System (GPS) technology can use on mapping to suppory the searching property in Indonesia. Yogyakarta as one of big province in Indonesia which has many big assets on property are very attractive, especially with status of Yogyakarta as education city and culturism city. To look for property location which sale, investor still use conventional media such as advertising in the newspaper, flyers, and banners. It is less effective because data accuracy and data update are not really good.

Depends on the case, needs to build application property information in Yogyakarta use Global Positioning System (GPS) technology base on Android. System development methods are used in this application use waterfall method and library research to obtain many information source to support this research. Implementation in this application use Android SDK, Android Development Tools (ADT), IDE Eclipse Galileo. For Developing this application, Java is programming language.
